Car Rental Cuba | Havana Airport

Car Rental Cuba making you crazy? Car Rental Cuba in this year’s high season of July and August is going to be tricky. We have been informed that from June 15th (in a few days…) local agencies in Cuba and foreign agencies who resell Car Rental Cuba will be prohibited from confirming further services. This […]

Varadero Cuba Airport Review | Gregory Silvers

Once we arrived at Varadero Airport  we had to line up for a while to go through customs, as everyone has to go through individually to show their Visas and passports. Once through things went a lot quicker our bags were already off loaded and we found our rep who pointed us in the direction […]

Varadero Cuba Airport Review | James Summerville

In Cuba I´d say Varadero is the main tourist area and as such one would assume it to have a modern well equipped international airport with all the amenities one would expect, and this is the case. Like all Cuban airports this one is named after some hero from Cuban history.   At least I presume […]

Havana Jose Marti Airport Review | Peter Summers

Havana Airport (Jose Marti) has 3 terminals. Terminal 2 is mainly used for charter flights from Miami. Literally hundreds of people (One full British flight and one full Russian flight) shoved […]

Havana Jose Marti Airport Review | Joan Hardy

We found Havana airport clean and well signposted. The downside was the length of time needed to check in and pass through immigration. We arrived over 3 hours before the Havana flight and it took 2.5 hours to get airside. If you want a choice of seat, I suggest a minimum of 3.5 hours.

Varadero Cuba Airport Review | Jamie Hardcastle

I agree with all other comments. Baggage claim is still taking a long time considering the short distance from the aircraft and minimal schedules. Priority baggage tags don’t seem to be recognised either. The two baggage carousels are positioned on either side of the walk route to arrivals, so if there are a lot of […]

Havana Jose Marti Airport Review | Kim Hughes

The Havana airport is modern and new (before it was called Boyeros) and probably build by Canadian constructors with glass/steel etc. However, sometimes there are ‘apagones’, like elsewere in Havana, due to electricity problems. Well, it has its charm too! A good tax free shop, a VIP club, places to drink etc., not inconvenient, sympathetic […]
